In Norway, summer solstice is celebrated with bonfires.
I went for a quick walk around a nearby lake this morning and captured this scene with golden, morning light. After I installed CHDK and can get RAW files from my camera I deliberately go looking for high contrast scenes to see how the little P&S copes.
A bit different from the two previous shots. I liked the lights and the reflections.
Taken at the same place and at the same time as Forest Light I. This one is also “developed” from a RAW file from my Canon SX240 compact camera.
I installed CHDK in my Canon SX240. It lets me access RAW files from the camera. RAW files give me a lot more data to work with in PhotoShop and better image quality.

Tram tracks outside an old tram depot. This is also a place I have visited several times and taken countless pictures of.
Who says you cannot create a nice and smooth background blur with a point and shoot camera?
